Mira ColdBoost Digital Showers

ColdBoost™ lets you introduce controlled cold-water experiences into your shower to help you reset, find balance and support mindfulness. It comes as part of the Mira Activate smart range, so you get those cold bursts alongside the shower's digital controls and thermostatic stability. Many people use short, focused cold phases in the morning to feel more alert, or at the end of a warm shower to enliven the senses.

A single outlet gives you one fixed head or handset and suits simple en-suites or cloakroom showers. Two outlets (often a rainfall head plus a handset) let you switch between a luxurious overhead spray and a practical handheld for rinsing, and some models let both run together. Three outlets add functions such as body jets or a bath filler, which works well if you want a spa-like set-up or multiple users' needs in one system.

The range includes versions for high-pressure/combi boilers and for low-pressure/gravity systems — you'll see listings marked HP/Combi or Gravity Pumped. Thermostatic digital control is offered across the range, but if you have a cold water tank and hot cylinder pick a gravity-pumped model designed for lower pressure. If you have a combi boiler, choose the HP/combi variant for reliable pressure and flow.

Ceiling-fed showers use pipework through the ceiling and are ideal for true overhead or ceiling-mounted heads, while wall-fed showers use pipework through the shower wall. Wall-fed units are generally easier to retrofit in an existing bathroom because you can use the pipes already in the wall. If you're designing a new bathroom and want an overhead rain effect, a ceiling-fed configuration gives the cleanest look.

Mira Activate is a thermostatic, digital smart shower, so you get precise temperature control and a digital interface for setting and recalling your preferred settings. The thermostatic function keeps the water at your set temperature even if pressure varies, which is handy with family use or when other taps run. Many of the models are concealed for a neat finish, giving a minimalist look alongside the smart control.
