Sizes cover a wide range, from compact 800 x 800mm squares up to long options like 1700 x 700mm or 1600 x 900mm, so measure the longest and shortest dimensions before you decide. If your shower door needs extra clearance, an offset quadrant gives a little more room on one side without changing the footprint.

What are the main material differences and which should you pick for everyday use?

Acrylic capped stone resin is the most common here, it's tough, gives a smooth warm feel underfoot and keeps its crisp white finish well, which makes it ideal for regular family use. Acrylic capped ABS trays are lighter and usually less expensive, but not quite as solid underfoot; marble resin, Ducostone and RAKSOLID are premium options with different looks and weight profiles. If you want durability and comfort, a stone resin tray is a reliable choice; if you need something lighter or more budget friendly, acrylic capped ABS can work.

Will a low profile tray be slippery and are anti-slip finishes available?

A smooth acrylic-capped surface does feel pleasant underfoot but can be slippery when wet, so many models include non-slip finishes, about 241 of the trays shown have non-slip options. Low profile means the tray sits close to the floor to create a sleek, wet-room-like look; common heights you'll see are 25mm, 30mm, 40mm and 45mm, with many trays advertised specifically as 40mm for that near-level effect. If you want a minimal transition between floor and tray, a 40mm or 30mm option will give that streamlined appearance.

How do I decide between a centre waste or a corner waste on a tray?

The waste position should match your enclosure and existing drainage route, centre wastes (the majority included in our range) suit rectangular and square trays where balance and even drainage are preferable.
