Hydrolux Square Folding Bath Shower Screen 800mm Matt Black - Four Panels 4mm

This is the 2nd unit we have bought. Only because we moved home & wanted this unit in our new home. It's such a great idea without being in the way if you like to have a bath. It just folds back to the shower end of the bath. Price of this unit from Plumbworld is excellent being the most affordable. The quality is great & well constructed, but it is fairly heavy being of glass. So its advisable to have 2 people to help with installation. The unit just needs support during installation, but holds itself otherwise. We bought the full five panels of glass screen, so it is well covering the side of the bath with no fears of wetting the bathroom floor. I highly recommend this company for very good pricing & not skimping on quality. Like other company's may.

We havent used the shower yet but it looks great. Easy to install, good price and fast delivery. Excellent service. Thanks.

Very good. It replaced an old similar unit which looked tired and in fact fell off the wall. The new unit I think is superior and slightly bigger than the previous one and is more securely fitted to the wall. The Plumworld unit does use glass as opposed to plastic so is rather heavy as a result.

I first bought one of these screens for a customer based on the reviews. I was so impressed with the quality and ease of fitting along with excellent price compared to others I've on line that I have bought this one for my own bathroom. Happy wife happy days.

Had a small issue with a part not in the pack. But contacted the customer service who didn't have the part in stock but sent me a whole new screen. It's worth every penny and so much easier with it folding specifically because my last one was terrible would always bang against my sink. If you have a bath/shower definitely think of getting one of the bifold screens you won't regret it.

Very happy with this shower screen. Fitted easily and doesn't leak at all. Folds away small so it doesn't take up space in a small bathroom but it easy to pull out when needed. Good design.

Great value, quick delivery, easy to install and looks great

A great product for the price. Up close you can see that the hinges are plastic, but just looking at it normally it looks really smart. A bit fiddly to fit and understand the instructions. I'll discuss the seal strip and edge bar. I was definitely a two person job, or a least one person and a helper to hold it in place as you screw it on! I bought this shower screen as the one in my house was too short and shower water kept splashing on the floor. This screen is a nice length and folds away nice and compact. As far as fitting goes it was a little hit and miss. The instructions are vague to say the least, but it's pretty straight forward to work out how to fit it. There were two issues I came across: 1. the rubber seal at the bottom of the screen slides in nice and easy, but when I cut it to size (when the screen is stretched out) it's fine, but when I fold the screen the seal extends out the end. I found the little end cap pieces, but they just pop out, they do not hold in place properly. I've left it as is for the time being and I'll see how it goes. 2. the kit comes with a strip that I think you silicon seal to the edge of the bath. Plumbworld have no images with this strip on the bath (plus a search of the internet for similar screens) and as the instruction are vague it's hard to tell which way up to fit it. I noticed that someone had asked the question about if it needed fitting and Plumbworld had not really responded, just saying that the strip at the bottom should stop water. I have not fitted mine to my bath and the seal at the bottom of the screen does seem to be working okay. All I would say is that this strip is obviously meant to help the screen sit straight along the side of your bath and without it you have to be careful to sit the screen straight. Finally I worry about the weight of the product just hanging from that one bar on my wall. I wish I'd used some stronger raw plugs than the ones that came with it. When I fold the screen I try to keep it sitting on the edge of the bath so that last screen isn't folded. If I had space I would rest it on the end of the bath near the taps, but my taps fill too much space. I only fitted it a week ago, but at the moment it is working fine and looks good. For the price of just over 100 for the 1200mm it's a really good product. Especially compared to the price of others out there.

Product arrived on time and was easy to fit, and as described

I bought this product and a small part of the shower fell off and I could find a replacement. Plumbworld sorted me out a replacement no problem at all, brilliant customer service.
