These look quite good on my basin , are very tall for basin taps, almost look like bath taps, so theyll only look right if youve got a big Victorian style basin like mine. But the bad thing is ( and this is costing me more money to pay the plumber!) - the cold tap turns the wrong way! Anticlockwise to turn on , right? Clockwise to turn off
No matter if hot or cold. What this manufacturer Hudson has done is to treat the cold tap like its part of a mixer so when I went to turn on the tap it felt stiff ( I was turning anticlockwise ) and the whole tap moved! Needs to be refitted. Also Ill have to pay plumber to alter it to go the right way and its quite a time consuming job , plumber didnt know, had to look up on YouTube ! so more expense and these were over 130. Nothing in the spec on the website about this! It IS important as guests will go to turn on tap in usual way give if a tank and same thing will happen , itll come loose.
