The Bristan Apelo Eco Start Tall Basin Mixer combines contemporary styling with a taller profile that's ideal for use alongside countertop basins. Its elegant curves and simple single-lever control create a clean, modern look, while clever Eco Start technology helps reduce unnecessary energy use during everyday tasks.

Finished in bright chrome, it's easy to coordinate with other bathroom taps, while flexible tails and a clicker waste are included to help make installation straightforward.

Eco Start Helps Reduce Energy Use

Bristan's Eco Start technology means the tap runs cold when the lever is in its central position. Hot water is only introduced when you deliberately move the lever towards the hot setting, helping prevent unnecessary boiler activation when you only need cold water.

For everyday tasks such as handwashing and brushing your teeth, it's a simple way to help reduce unnecessary energy consumption without changing how you use your taps.

Designed for Countertop Basins

The taller profile provides the extra height needed to comfortably reach over a countertop basin. This makes it a stylish alternative to standard basin taps, particularly when your basin sits on top of a vanity unit or worktop rather than being recessed into it.

Water-Saving 5L/min Flow

The M24 housed outlet incorporates a 5L/min flow-limited aerator, helping control water consumption while maintaining comfortable everyday performance. Combined with Eco Start technology, these tall basin taps can help reduce unnecessary water and energy use.

Everything You Need for Installation

The Apelo comes supplied with 1/2" BSP flexible tails and a clicker waste, providing essential components for installation in the box. A robust metal fixing nut helps keep the single-hole, deck-mounted tap securely positioned once installed.

Smooth Single-Lever Control

A long-life 35mm Eco Start ceramic cartridge provides smooth, reliable control over both the water flow and temperature. The simple lever handle makes adjustment quick and straightforward whenever you use the tap.

Durable Chrome Finish

Bristan's chrome finish is scratch resistant and salt spray tested for durability, helping it retain its bright appearance through everyday bathroom use. Coordinating Apelo products and alternative finishes are also available, making it easy to carry the same design throughout your bathroom.

Suitable for All Plumbing Systems

The Apelo is suitable for all plumbing systems and operates from a minimum dynamic pressure of 0.5 bar up to a maximum of 5 bar. Maximum static pressure is 10 bar, while the maximum hot water temperature is 65°C.

WRAS Approved and Lifetime Warranty

The Bristan Apelo Eco Start Tall Basin Mixer is WRAS approved and backed by Bristan's lifetime parts and 1-year labour warranty, providing extra reassurance after installation.
