You’ll need a vanity or worktop that’s at least slightly wider than 530mm with enough depth to sit the basin securely and leave room behind for overflow or a wall-mounted tap. If you plan to use a high-rise tap, also check the tap’s spout reach so water lands well within the 345mm bowl depth. Measure your available top and the space to any mirror or shelf to make sure proportions feel balanced.

Copper gives a warm, characterful centrepiece that reads traditional yet striking, while nickel offers a cooler, contemporary metallic sheen. The copper & nickel option blends tones for a two‑colour effect, and tin provides a more unusual, softer metallic look. All finishes are intended to be eye‑catching and luxurious; if you want a warm, classic feel pick copper, and if you prefer a more modern palette choose nickel.

Both work well: the basins are countertop style and are specifically paired with either wall-mounted taps for a clean, luxurious aesthetic, or high‑rise taps that create a strong feature above the bowl. Wall-mounted taps free up the worktop and suit shallower countertops or busy surfaces, while high‑rise taps sit on the worktop and need enough height clearance above the basin. Choose a wall tap if you have a slim vanity and want an uninterrupted surface, or a high‑rise tap if you’re aiming for a bold, sculptural look.

The manufacturer recommends waxing the basin every few weeks to retain the showroom‑fresh shine and protect the finish. In addition, wipe off splashes after use with a soft cloth to reduce water marks and reapply wax as described for deeper protection. Regular light care will keep a copper or nickel finish looking luxurious for years.

They’re designed to combine functionality with eye‑catching style, so they can be used every day, but the metallic finishes do benefit from a little regular upkeep such as waxing. If you want a statement basin in a main bathroom and don’t mind a short maintenance routine, they’re an excellent choice; for a very high‑traffic family bathroom where minimal care is preferred, a simpler ceramic basin might be lower maintenance.
