Luxury soft close seat
We spend more time than we’d think using the toilet so it’s important that it’s not only comfortable but practical too which is exactly what this example is. The seat has been ergonomically designed for comfort while also including a brilliantly clever soft close hinge mechanism. The hinge lowers the seat and the lid back to the pan quietly and safely so no little fingers are at risk of being squashed.
Quick release top fix
This toilet seat benefits from a top fixing making it super quick and easy to fit. The ‘Quick Release’ design also allows for thorough cleaning, as you can simply lift the whole toilet seat off the toilet bowl to wipe underneath which ensures a deep clean of your toilet.
Water-saving dual flush cistern
We know it’s important to make our products as water efficient as possible because every little helps for saving the planet. Our concealed cisterns feature a brilliantly smart dual flush mechanism that allows an easy selection between a large and a small flush. For liquid waste a smaller 4 litre flush can be used and for solid waste a 6 litre flush is also available.

With the Artis WC unit the cistern is a concealed number which is not only a more attractive approach but also means it can be easily fitted with a dual flush system. To control your choice of small or large flush a chrome dual push button is fitted to the front of the unit.
Attached to the front of the unit is the ceramic toilet pan and the most important part of a toilet; the seat. The seat is designed for comfort primarily but it also comes with a clever slow close mechanism to ensure it always closes quietly and slowly.
The unit, like the pan, is finished in a high-quality white gloss to blend with most bathrooms and it all comes with a fantastic 10 year guarantee.

I liked the look of this toilet and unit and was not disappointed. It looks great in our downstairs cloakroom. The only thing I was a little surprised with was the small toilet seat and opening. Its much smaller than our other toilet in our main bathroom. For a large person this may present a problem. There was nothing to indicate that this was a smaller toilet when I ordered it. I looked at several different designs and assumed they would all be a regular size. I don't know if all the other designs are like this or are they just making toilets smaller these days like everything else?!
