does this item include the basin overflow outlet hole chrome insert cover?
The overflow ring is not supplied with the basin waste, these are normally included with the basin.
The body of the plug unit is shiney and strong. The round plug part is less so, but it is interchangable with the unit I was replacing, so unscrewed the old sprung mechanism and replaced it with the new part, saving myself a lot of time and hassle.
