Aqualisa 022801 Thermostatic Cartridge Grey

ITEM REQUIRED TO REPLACE LEAKING VALVE UNIT LOOKED AT REPAIRING WITH O RING KIT BUT REVEIWS NOT VERY PROMISING SO REPLACED THE WHOLE UNIT VERY EASY JUST UNSCEW OLD UNIT AND PLUG IN NEW ONE ALTHOUGH IF CHANGING REAR O RING HAVE SOME PATIENCE AS IT NOT EASY TO GET BACK IN ALL IN ALL VERY HAPPY

After one of my showers started dripping and doing all the necessary checks, I called a plumber. The plumber quoted me over 500 to replace the Aqualisa cartridge which he said would cost 250 for the part and 250 labour. After I had picked myself up from the floor, I mentioned to a neighbour who said he had fixed his shower himself as he had taken it to pieces, given it a good clean and it then worked. Sadly his shower was a different model but it did tell me I definitely needed a new Aqualisa cartridge for my Dream Shower. After looking all over the internet, I found Plumbworld and boy oh boy, am I glad I did! Great customer reviews, a fantastic clean and clear website with full instructions and yay! They also had the Aqualisa shower cartridge I needed .......... at a fraction of the price of any other supplier! Thank you so so much Plumbworld! My neighbour and my husband then repeated their process above but, this time, fitted the new Aqualisa cartridge from Plumbworld and it works perfectly ...... and has ALSO saved a small fortune!! I cannot thank Plumbworld enough and will always order from their in future. I tried the rest but have now found the best in Plumbworld and encourage you all to do the same!

I needed this part to replace a very old corroded part. This came quickly and was the cheapest I found. It fit perfectly with the seals provided and solved the leak I had. Beware the rear hot water seal. Its a challenge to change!
