What an absolute piece of c**p - Me and the missis have had ours for less than 5 years and its been replaced once and the replacement broke down twice. It's not even used by a full household - just the 2 of us and if im being honest i only shower at home once every 3 days, since i go swimming most mornings and shower there. Save your money, dont waste it, cant even imagine how a family with kids can use this. Also the water pressure isnt great, but thats probably something to do with the plumbing. Avoid at all costs. Also what complete cretin designed the thing? - the positioning of the bottom screw makes this unit an absolute nightmare to put back together unless you have hands like Bilbo Baggins.
Unfortunately the unit was faulty and would not stop dripping. Aqualisa were very pleasant, although I had to wait 2 weeks for the engineer, who replaced the engine. Once again it would not stop dripping. Another week later third replacement, still faulty, so waiting on another this week. This shower is a straight replacement for another which worked well for years, but the number of faulty units is now quite concerning.
I ordered this shower to replace our broken Aqualisa 8.5, I guessed it would be much easier to install and minimal mess, I was shocked to notice the transfer (Cold) looked like it had been rubbed off in places. Too much trouble to return this item now so we will have to live with the issue.
Unfortunately the shower has a permanent leak, and is not fit for purpose. I am now looking for another one.
Simple to use but badly lacking pressure and very expensive compared its market competitors.
An expensive poor product, gave up after 3 replacements all with the same fault.

Not a comment on the product itself, but the service. The product is prominently marked here as 'Which Best Buy' despite being a different model in the same range to the one featured by Which (Which rated the 9.5kW version). So, immediately after purchasing on a Saturday night I wrote asking to cancel as soon as I spotted the information on the (misleading) product listing. Despite doing so, the order was dispatched on Monday. I called immediately and explained what had happened, and was told to refuse the product on delivery, which we did. Over one month later and I am still waiting for a refund (currently expected in 3-5 days). If I hadn't chased them presumably I would never have received any refund. Customer service agents respond promptly to inquiries, but chasing this up has cost time and money and they've basically borrowed £140 off me for a month.
We bought this shower as my daughter had one which we had used when visiting her. BIG mistake! She hadn't told us she was on her second one after the first packed in just after the guarantee period had passed! Ours has been disappointing,and has now also died after about 3 years. In winter the temperature was too cool even at it's highest setting. When i raised this with our plumber he mentioned that other customers had had the same problem. Wish I had had this info BEFORE he installed it. My advice is AVOID this brand.
I bought this shower to replace my broken shower which was exactly the same as I didn’t want to have to ruin any tiles. The shower performance is so poor I had the plumber come back and check it. He found no fault so he contacted aqualisa for me. Their shower guy has been today to replace it but says there’s nothing wrong and I should buy a shower that’s more than 8.5. This shower is so useless, I’d be better getting a shower under a bucket with a hole it!! I’ll be replacing this unit ASAP
