Aqualisa Quartz Electric Shower 10.5kW Chrome ReviewsPrevious
Bought this as a replacement for a 2 year old Triton which never matched up to its Triton predecessor. Which. recommended Aqualisa as one of the best shower manufacturers and I wholeheartedly agree with them. I fitted the unit myself without any issues because the instructions were clear and well laid out. The unit innards are very well constructed and all components have a quality feel to them. This shower also seems to cope much better than the Triton with the pressure drops that occur when running taps or flushing toilets. In fact there is no noticeable drop in shower pressure or water temperature. It looks very stylish and is worth the little extra cost over its rivals.
After shopping around for weeks for an electric shower for a new-build wetroom, I decided to buy this 10.5kw Aqualisa shower from Plumbworld. We already have an Aqualisa shower in our old bathroom which runs off the existing hot-cold water supply, and it is still in good condition after 18 years or so. We liked the brand, & know the build quality to be very good indeed. It was fitted today, looks very smart. Easy to operate, too. Very understated, nothing flashy or vulgar about it, just good, solid product, yet still very stylish & modern.
The shower works perfectly with good temperature control and range. I was retro-fitting from a different unit and with a careful bit of planning I completed the job with two elbow joints and 3 of pipe. The water inlet is on the right hand side as viewed from the front. This was not a problem as there is plenty of room inside for all standard pluming attachments (not flexy hoses) I had to cut away a few of the internal moulding fins to get my pipes in but this was no real problem.
Bought this shower to replace one the same that had worn out. We wanted all the fittings to be in the same place so we didn't have to knock any more holes in the wall. The old shower had served us very well so we were happy to have the same make and model again. Plumbworld were the cheapest supplier we could find but that didn't mean poor service. Communication was excellent and delivery was prompt and very well packaged. Very happy customers, many thanks.
I ordered this shower to replace an exact copy which had gone wrong (going cold during the shower). Your delivery service was excellent and although you emailed me to say it wasnt in stock I received it very quickly (within days)I was very impressed. My original purchase had got scaled up and lasted 2 years so I am hoping this time round Ill be able to use the shower longer but was such a good price I dont mind changing it every 2 years!
I bought this to replace an identical model that I'd had for about 4 years, but which gets a lot of use due to being a family of 6. It's a good-looking shower and being 10.5KW never has issues with not being able to heat the water quickly enough. Definitely recommended.
We bought this to replace our old shower, of the same model, which had finally given out after 4 years use for a family of 5. The shower head has been improved and it gives a great power shower. Controls are easy to use and it looks great! Would definitely recommend.
If you have to have an electric shower this is a good one. This is the third attempt inside 2 years. First was the one in the house when I moved in. Second was a cheaper lower power one. Now this. Bit of a hassle to upgrade the wiring but worth it I think.
