Dual Flush, Economical WRAS Approved Cistern
Our products aren’t just a pretty face and have some pretty high-tech internals; the Amelie cistern being no exception. It comes complete with all of the fittings including a sublime dual push button for the cistern lid. This button controls whether you have a 3 or 6 litre flush to help save on water usage. The cistern also has an inlet on both the left and right hand side for easier installation.

Within the Amelie toilet package you’ll receive a toilet pan and cistern manufactured from porcelain and coated with a hard-wearing, durable vitreous china that’ll cope easily with the strain of day to day use. The toilet seat is made from a thermoset plastic and features a slow close mechanism for a quiet descent. Like the toilet it’s finished in a crisp, modern white.

This toilet has a smaller cistern (less capacity) than my old toilet. Is it adequate to clear the waste ? Our house dates back to 1920s and has the original sewer pipe that has recently been re-lined. we love this space saving toilet but we have noticed that there are signs that there is back-up now and again leading to the manhole.
All toilets now have a 6 litre flush due to water regulations , the rimless design does mean that the flush is more powerful than a standard toilet.

Hi, whereabouts on the toilet is the water inlet? I read it can be on left or right side, but where does it come in?
The water inlet can be bottom left or bottom right of the cistern

What is access for the soil pipecan this be from side left or right or only bottom or back?
The distance from the base of the pan to the wall is approx 90mm , the pan is hollow at the back , the space from the soil pipe to the wall is approx 150mm.

The toilet has approximately 155mm from the outlet spigot in the pan to the wall

Chose this item as a replacement toilet in our ensuite which was over 20 years old and so glad we did. Extremely good design and compact without being too small. DIY install was so easy.
We had an issue with the first courier company as only the seat and cistern were delivered. However this was quickly sorted within an hour of delivery by contacting Plumbworld customer service, confirming that the courier had lost part of the item. This was remedied immediately by sending a replacement toilet pan next day by an alternative courier. Excellent service !
