How do I choose the right extraction rate (flowrate) for my kitchen?

Look at the fan’s max flowrate — the range shown here runs from about 61 to 78 litres per second. If you have a small, enclosed kitchen you’ll usually be fine toward the lower end (around 61 L/s); for a medium kitchen aim for 65–67 L/s; and for open-plan kitchens or if you cook greasy, smoky food often, choose nearer 78 L/s.
