Switch operated
These extractor fans are operated using the light switch for your bathroom. A simple flick of the switch and excess humidity from a shower or long bath can be extracted until you turn the light back off. For extended extractor you may want to consider one with a timer or humidistat.
Interchangeable control modules – sold separately

Building regulations stipulate that extractor fans need to be able to extract at least 60 litres of air per second in a kitchen without a cooker hood. It’s needed to ensure a minimal build-up of moisture in the room due to cooking steam, reducing mould and grime in damp areas. This fan will extract an incredible 78 litres per second, so you can relax that your kitchen is fully covered.

This product has a rating of IPX4 which means it is protected from water splashes from any angle.
Axial
Axial type fans cause gas to flow through in an axial direction which is parallel to the shaft where the blades rotate, making the flow axial at exit and entry. Axial fans are designed to create a pressure difference and force which produces a flow through the fan.

Over the years we have had a selection of extractor fans with back draught shutters which work at first but not for long. Also when it was windy they were always clattering.
The bathroom was chilly even with the heating on.
Saw this extractor in an Airbnb and was blown away.
It takes a little time for the Iris to open at the start and similarly a while for it to close at the end.
When not in use it is draught free and silent.
Highly recommended.

I have just fitted this fan together with the humidity stat and timer module. It's a really good product and works very efficiently indeed. It looks great too and even though it's a large fan it sits nicely on the wall if you choose the recessed option of fitting as I have. Highly recommend.
