Axial type fans cause gas to flow through in an axial direction which is parallel to the shaft where the blades rotate, making the flow axial at exit and entry. Axial fans are designed to create a pressure difference and force which produces a flow through the fan.
Humidistat & timer operated
These extractor fans are certainly the cleverest with the ability to operate using a timer or based on the humidity levels in the room. It is operated when humidity levels within the room get too high or when the light switch is used, with a timer continuing to run the extractor fan for a predetermined amount of time.
Zone 1 Rated
IP rating stands for 'Ingress Protection rating' and this helps us determine what bathroom electricals can go in particular bathroom zones. An IP (Ingress Protection) number or code is used here in the UK to specify the environmental protection of enclosures around electronic equipment. These ratings are determined by specific tests.

I bought x2 of these to replace standard times extractor fans because brighter of my bathrooms have windows and ventilation is an issue causi g mildew & damp no matter how fastidious I am. They were recommended by an electrician. When looking we looked for the decibel levels and the litres of air moved. Thu product fitted my criteria and was offered at Plumb World at a good price, was in stock and allowed me to choose a delivery date. While I won’t need other supplies I would highly recommend the seller. The fans have been installed for 4 days and are working as expected.
