How do I know if you need angled towel radiator valves for your heated towel rail?

If the pipework feeding your towel rail comes horizontally out of the wall rather than up through the floor, you need angled valves, they turn that horizontal pipe through 90 degrees to meet the vertical inlet on the rail. Angled valves are the standard solution for wall outlets and ensure a neat, leak-free connection.
