Powerful Type 22 Heating
Type 22 double panel radiators contain two water-filled panels and two internal convectors. Each convector increases the available surface area, allowing more heat to transfer into the surrounding room.
This construction provides a stronger heat output than comparable single panel or Type 21 models, making it a practical choice for rooms that need plenty of warmth without an excessively wide radiator.
Double Panel, Double Convector Design
Two convectors sit between the front and rear panels, with one attached to each panel. This arrangement helps warm the air passing through the radiator before distributing it into the room.
Although double panel radiators project further from the wall than slimmer single panel models, their improved heat output makes them well suited to bedrooms, living rooms, dining areas, and other regularly used spaces.
Neat, Finished Appearance
Unlike basic panel radiators with visible internal components, this model has factory-fitted side panels and a top grille. These provide a cleaner appearance while allowing warm air to circulate through the radiator.
The familiar panel design works well in both contemporary and traditional interiors, making it easy to add dependable heating without distracting from the room.
Installation Hardware Included
Heavy-duty L-shaped brackets are supplied for mounting the radiator securely to a suitable wall. The package also contains an air vent, blind plug, screws, and screw caps, providing the essential hardware required for installation.
Pre-fitted holders on the back of the radiator allow it to hang securely on the wall brackets. Installation should be completed by a competent heating professional.
Standard UK Connections
Standard G1/2-inch connection threads make this radiator compatible with common UK domestic central heating systems. The installer should confirm that the existing pipework, valves, wall, and boiler system are suitable before fitting.
BS EN 442 Compliant
This radiator conforms to BS EN 442, the recognised European standard covering the testing and performance of radiators. It is also protected by a 10-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
Improve Your Home Heating

K Rad Kompact Type 22 600 x 600mm Radiator - Double Panel Double Convector – Technical Specifications
This was the first time I ordered a radiator online and wouldn't you know it. It had been damaged in transport and so I called it in.
The service was excellent and in no time another one was ordered.
A shout out to the customer service, in my case manned by Hamza Kahn.
He was kind, professional and communications were quickly answered.
Although I didn't yet get the chance to install or try the radiator until the new one arrives, I can already see that it's good quality. If there's one remark I would make, it's that it would benefit the installers if the bleeding nipple would have come with the radiator. That way I wouldn't have to go out to buy one separately.
I will certainly buy here again.

The large double panel is a quality product purchased at a very reasonable price - and performs as expected.
The delivery was held up for reasons beyond the control of the couriers but I was advised of the problem in advance. Good communication.

Quite a bit cheaper than the well known brands, looks just as good, and pretty much the same output. Also a good Warranty period. All in all so far looks good value for money.

Excellent value and a great product too. The double radiator ensured that the product was not obtrusive and could deliver the necessary BTUs required to heat the large space - a 5m x 3m extension with an average height of 2.4m.

Well impressed with both delivery & quality. Delivered much quicker than expected and giving my plumber an earlier window. Great radiator that really gives off some heat in our Conservatory. K. Patten. Lancs.
