This K Rad Kompact features two water-filled panels with one internal convector positioned between them. The additional panel and convector create a larger heating surface than a standard single-panel radiator, helping warmth circulate more effectively around the room.
Double panel plus radiators, also known as Type 21 radiators, offer a useful balance between projection and heat output. They are well suited to bedrooms and other small or medium-sized rooms where more warmth is needed without moving up to a bulkier Type 22 model.
Neat, Finished Appearance
Factory-fitted side panels and a top grille conceal the internal convector and give the radiator a tidy appearance. These finishing components do not prevent warm air from circulating through the radiator.
The simple design works with a wide range of interiors, making it a practical replacement for an older panel radiator or a dependable choice for a new central heating installation.
Straightforward Installation
Heavy-duty L-shaped brackets allow the radiator to be securely mounted to a suitable wall. The supplied air vent, blind plug, screws, and screw caps provide the essential fittings required for installation.
Standard G1/2-inch threaded connections make the radiator compatible with common UK plumbing systems. Suitable radiator valves should be selected to match the position of the existing or planned pipework.
Tested to BS EN 442
The radiator conforms to BS EN 442, the recognised European standard covering the performance and testing of radiators. It is also supplied with a 10-year warranty against manufacturing defects for added reassurance.
Improve Your Home Heating
Add the K Rad Kompact Type 21 radiator to your basket for dependable heating, strong output, and a tidy factory-finished design.

Bought this Rad to replace an old single panel Rad.
Finish’s off a newly decorated hallway nicely and giving off a lot of heat - which is probably overkill seeing as it is the same length as the old one.
Only problem I faced was not ensuring the tails were super tight before fitting to the wall - one end started to loosen as I tightened the pipework to it (tightening in the opposite direction) - user error!

I went for this brand as it had a higher heat output than the Screwfix/Toolstation/B&Q equivalent. It is well made with a good finish. All the normal fittings included. I would buy again.
