Prorad double panel single convector

Great heat output with a double panel radiator

Double panel convector radiators, otherwise known as Type 21, benefit from a single convector that has been sandwiched between two single panels. The convector is only fitted to one of the panels and they are a bit thicker than a standard, single panel radiator but they do provide a much higher heat output. Due to their size their ideal for heating small to medium sized bedrooms.

Prorad fitted grills top and sides

Includes pre-fitted side panels and a top grill

You'll easily be able to conceal the internals of the radiator with the factory fitted top grills and side panels. They provide an elegant finish to the radiator but without hindering any of the heat output that you receive from it.

Radiators - Central Heating System Inhibitor

Use an inhibitor during installation

We would always recommend using an inhibitor when installing any new radiator. An inhibitor helps to protect your central heating system from limescale and corrosion and is best used after your system has been flushed and cleaned.

Bought this Rad to replace an old single panel Rad. Finish’s off a newly decorated hallway nicely and giving off a lot of heat - which is probably overkill seeing as it is the same length as the old one. Only problem I faced was not ensuring the tails were super tight before fitting to the wall - one end started to loosen as I tightened the pipework to it (tightening in the opposite direction) - user error!
