Slim Type 11 Heating

The K Rad Kompact Type 11 radiator combines a single heating panel with one convector. The convector increases the available surface area, allowing it to deliver more heat than a basic single panel radiator without fins.

Single panel radiators have a slimmer projection than Type 21 or Type 22 alternatives. This makes them useful in hallways, smaller rooms, and other areas where a deeper radiator could obstruct the available space.

Wide, Low-Height Design

Measuring 400mm high and 1600mm wide, this model distributes its heating surface across a longer section of wall. Its proportions can work particularly well beneath wide windows or in rooms with limited vertical space.

The required heat output should always be calculated for the room before ordering, as Type 11 radiators generally produce less heat than comparable double-panel designs.

Neat, Complete Appearance

Factory-fitted side panels and a top grille conceal the convector and internal fittings, giving the radiator a cleaner, more finished appearance. These covers allow warm air to continue circulating through the radiator.

Its simple exterior suits both modern and traditional interiors without drawing unnecessary attention away from the rest of the room.

Straightforward Wall Installation

Heavy-duty L-shaped brackets are included for secure wall mounting. Pre-fitted holders on the rear of the radiator allow it to hang from the installed brackets.

An air vent, blind plug, screws, and screw caps are also supplied. The supporting wall and fixings must be appropriate for the radiator’s size and weight, and installation should be completed by a competent heating professional.

Standard UK Connections

G1/2-inch connection threads provide compatibility with common UK central heating systems. Suitable radiator valves should be chosen according to whether the pipework approaches from the wall or floor.

The radiator conforms to BS EN 442, the recognised European standard covering the testing and stated performance of radiators.
