Straight radiator valves aren’t as common as they used to be, but they’re still around in a fair few older properties. For this reason, we think it’s important to have designer valves to update and upgrade older types without you needing to re-plumb your hot water system.
Straight valves are exactly that; they’re designed to connect pipework that comes straight out the floor onto your heated towel rail or designer radiator. Our Duratherm examples are finished in a high-quality anthracite colour, a perfect match for our other anthracite designer radiators.
As you would imagine, straight radiator valves connect to the central heating with the radiator being straight up from the floor, horizontally. Straight valves are to be used when your heating pipes are coming out of the floor; the water runs through the valve in a straight line, as the name suggests.
