Corner Towel Radiator Valves

Discover our range of corner towel radiator valves, perfect for a variety of heated towel radiator types and styles. Boasting a variety of styles and finishes, you can choose the perfect valve for your radiator!

Corner towel rail valves are ideal for more compact rooms or simply for minimising the amount of space your radiator takes up. The valve is angled so that it points upwards rather than outwards upon installation. This not only keeps it out of the way but also ensures the valve is not adding extra depth to your radiator.

Our corner heated towel rail valves come in different colours to match the towel rail you choose. Whether you’re looking for a grey, white or black radiator valve, we’ve got an option that suits your style. Modern and more traditional styles are also available.

Plumbworld offer a wide range of radiator valves and heating accessories. Will these corner towel radiator valves fit my heated towel rail?

Most of the valves in this range use a 15mm connection, which is the common size for modern towel radiators, so they will fit many rails. The range is described as suitable for a variety of heated towel radiator types and styles, but you should confirm your radiator's tailpipe diameter before buying. If your radiator uses a different pipe size you may need an adaptor or a different valve type. For example, if your radiator tails are 15mm, a DuraTherm corner valve pack will be a direct fit.

What's the practical difference between thermostatic and manual corner valves?

Thermostatic valves let you set and maintain a chosen radiator temperature automatically, which helps keep the room comfortable and can save energy; five options in the range are thermostatic. Manual valves give simple on/off or flow adjustment and are cheaper and straightforward to use; eight items are manual. If you want automatic control in a main bathroom, thermostatic is a sensible pick; for a small guest cloakroom where you just want heat quickly, a manual valve often suffices.

How do I choose the right finish and style for my bathroom?

Match the valve finish to your radiator and hardware: options include chrome, black, anthracite/grey, white and brass or brushed brass, so you can coordinate with towel rails and taps. There are modern and traditional styles - crosshead designs suit classic bathrooms while sleek thermostatic packs suit contemporary schemes. For example, pair a brushed brass corner valve with a warm brass ladder rail for a cohesive, on-trend look.

Will a corner valve really save space in a small bathroom?

Yes. Corner valves are angled so the control points upwards rather than outwards, which reduces the radiator's projection from the wall and keeps the valve out of the way. That makes them ideal for compact rooms or where the radiator sits close to doors and fittings. In a small ensuite, a corner valve prevents the control from protruding into the walking space and keeps towels unobstructed.

What does "lockshield included" mean and do you need one?

A lockshield is a balancing valve that helps equalise flow across your central heating system and is often supplied with radiator valve packs - ten items in this range include a lockshield. You usually want a lockshield fitted so a heating engineer can fine-tune flow to each radiator for even heating. If you're replacing both valves at once, buy a pack that includes the lockshield; if only one side needs replacing, you may already have one fitted.
