Thankfully tastes and designs have moved on and we’re happy to announce our gorgeous range of black taps. A number of different shades are available for you to choose, from jet black to anthracite and even a mixture of black and chrome, so getting just the right look in your kitchen is so much easier than it used to be! The collection also features pull out spray taps to help with rinsing down vegetables and plates, plus, some hot and cold mixer taps to produce boiling hot water on demand. How do I decide between a pull-out, swivel or fixed spout for a black kitchen tap?

Think about how you use the sink: pull-out taps (about 17 options here) are ideal if you regularly rinse veg or wash large pans because the spray head reaches into corners, while a swivel spout (around 31 options) gives wide coverage for double bowls. Fixed spouts (c.17) look cleaner and suit a minimalist sink where you don't need extra reach. Will a black finish show scratches and water spots easily, and how long will it last?

Which tap control is best for my kitchen — single lever, twin lever or sensor?

Single lever taps (37 options) are the most practical for everyday use, letting you adjust flow and temperature with one hand; they work well in modern kitchens.
