Flexible Reach Around Your Sink
The Abode Hex features a spray head that pulls out on a weighted hose, extending its reach from 220mm to 520mm. This makes it easier to rinse vegetables, wash larger dishes, and direct water around the bowl.
The spout also swivels through 360 degrees, giving you more freedom when using the sink. If you’re comparing pull out kitchen taps, these features offer practical flexibility for everyday tasks.
Contrasting Finishes With Hex Detailing
The black brass body is complemented by brushed nickel on the lever, hexagonal collar, knurled spray head, and base. The combination draws attention to the tap’s individual details, while the squared spout creates a contemporary profile.
Standing 378mm high, the tap has a spout height of 261mm, a spout diameter of 24mm, and a base diameter of 48mm.
Straightforward Control and Cleaning
The single lever adjusts temperature and flow, with a ceramic disc cartridge providing smooth, precise operation. At 3 bar, the tap delivers 7.11 litres per minute.
A honeycomb aerator features a coin-slot insert for removal during cleaning and an M22F thread. Non-return valves are fitted in both inlets and the spray head.
Installation Requirements
The Hex fits a 35mm tap hole and accommodates worktops up to 45mm thick. A triangular stabilising bracket is included with the mounting components to support the installation.
The supplied 365mm flexible braided stainless steel tails have M8 connections at the tap and ½-inch BSP male connections at the supply. The tap weighs 1.39kg and operates between 1.25 and 5.5 bar.
The recommended hot water temperature is 46°C, with a maximum permitted temperature of 60°C.
5-Year Warranty
The Abode Hex comes with a 5-year warranty, with decorative finishes and O-rings covered for 1 year. This offers added confidence when choosing kitchen taps for regular use.
