Separate Controls for Hot and Cold Water
The Abode Hex has two levers marked HOT and COLD, making each supply easy to identify. Each handle operates its own ceramic disc valve, opening fully with a quarter turn.
If you’re comparing kitchen mixer taps, this familiar arrangement gives you independent control when balancing water temperature and flow.
Flexible Spout With an Anti-Splash Outlet
The squared spout reaches 220mm over the sink and swivels through 360 degrees, allowing you to direct the outlet towards different areas of the bowl. Its anti-splash design helps reduce splashing during everyday use.
The honeycomb aerator has an M22F thread and a coin-slot insert for removal during cleaning. At 3 bar, the tap delivers 12.05 litres per minute.
Antique Brass Accents on Matt Black
The matt black body contrasts with antique brass on the levers, hexagonal collar, and base. These warm details highlight the Hex’s geometric styling, bringing a distinctive finish to your sink area.
Made from brass, the tap stands 369mm high. Its spout height is 251mm, with a 24mm spout diameter and a 48mm base diameter.
Installation Requirements
The Hex fits a single 35mm tap hole and worktops up to 60mm thick. A triangular stabilising bracket is supplied with the mounting components to support the installation.
The included 365mm flexible braided stainless steel tails have M10 connections at the tap and ½-inch BSP male connections at the supply. Non-return valves are fitted in both inlets.
The tap weighs 1.56kg and operates between 0.5 and 5.5 bar. The recommended hot water temperature is 46°C, with a maximum of 60°C.
5-Year Warranty
The Abode Hex comes with a 5-year warranty, with decorative finishes and O-rings covered for 1 year. This offers added confidence when choosing kitchen taps for daily use.
