Also Worth Considering
Purchased to replace an old kitchen tap. Having now used this tap for 2 months with no problems I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to install a new tap. Our water system is low gravity fed and the water flow is excellent. The tap was installed by my boyfriend without any problems. The tap feels very good quality and I expect it will last a good few years. The handles are very smooth as they turn and there is no danger of over tightening them which can cause problems in other taps. The perolator gives the water a soft feel and means that it doesnt splash everywhere when on full. I particularly like the directional nozzle which means that you can get into all the edges of the sink when cleaning and direction the flow exactly where you want it when washing salad or vegetables. Very happy customer :)
I am an electrician and was impressed with the ease with which i could install this tap. The finish is good and the tap works perfectly.
Not a lot you can say about a tap really. But it's very nice tap. Build quality is very good. Just what you would expect from Franke.
This tap will produce marginally under 5 litres of hot water at 0.2 bar, (which is a typical hot water pressure for a bungalow), so a good performer. The tap is of excellent quality, although I personally don't find much use for the swivel nozzle at the spout end, although the diffuser/aerator is very good, no splashing etc. The height of the spout above sink level is not that great (193 mm) and I am currently still in the habit of banging the kettle while filling it, so this might be an issue for some. Obviously will get used to it, its a high quality and good tap for low pressure situations, and there aren't many taps out there that perform well at 0.2 bar pressure - so a good buy in my opinion and at a very good price from Plumbworld.
came well packaged. looked and felt good. Easy to install. Had it for 3 weeks. feels very good, easy to clean. very good tap. looks far more expensive than the reasonable cost
