Which material is best for my kitchen — granite composite, stainless steel or ceramic?

Each material has clear strengths. Granite composite gives a matt, durable finish in colours like black, white and grey and resists knocks and stains, so it suits busy family kitchens, the Harlem range. Stainless steel is hygienic, easy to clean and great if you want a modern, metallic look, as in the Minister or Diplomat models. Ceramic offers a classic, glossy finish and is ideal if you want a traditional look, such as the Traditional or Belfast ranges, though it can chip more easily than granite.

How do I decide between a single bowl, 1.5 bowl or double bowl sink?

Think about how you use the sink and how much bench space you have. Single bowls are roomy and good for large pans or compact kitchens, while 1.5 bowls give you a main bowl plus a smaller rinsing bowl for prep and draining, the Harlem15 is a popular 1.5 option. Double bowls are best if you regularly wash and prep separately, but they take more cupboard width. If you have limited surface area, a single bowl with a side drainer often works well.

Are drainer positions fixed or reversible, and how will that affect my layout?

Many inset Reginox sinks offer a drainer and 44 products in our range show left or right-hand options, so you can match the drainer to your kitchen workflow. Some models are reversible, giving you flexibility if your layout changes; several Harlem and Elleci sinks come in multiple drainer configurations. If your drainer needs to sit next to a hob or a dishwasher, pick the left or right version that lines up with the appliance for easier use.

Do these sinks come with wastes and how many pre-drilled tap holes are there?

A large number of the included in our range sinks state “with waste included,” so you won’t always need to buy a separate waste. Regarding taps, most inset Reginox sinks come with no pre-drilled tap hole, 35 products in our range are blank, but 24 have two holes and only one shows a single hole. If you plan to fit a mixer tap plus a soap dispenser or filtered-water tap, look for the two-hole options or a model explicitly shown with the required pre-drilled holes.

How do I match a sink finish and size to my kitchen style and budget?

Start with the visual tone and cupboard width you have: granite composite in colours like black, grey or cream suits contemporary or neutral schemes and appears across mid-price bands. Stainless steel is often less costly and suits modern, minimalist kitchens, you'll find stainless sinks at a lower to mid-range price point to the current product price here. For a traditional farmhouse look, ceramic pieces such as the Traditional or Belfast ranges give that classic white finish; match bowl size to your daily use so you don't overpay for unused capacity.
