This Reginox sink is manufactured from Axigran, a hard-wearing compound made using colourised quartz and polyester resins. The result is an attractive granite-like material that resists heat, cold, and the everyday knocks associated with a busy kitchen.
Axigran also has a uniform structure and a reassuringly solid feel, giving the sink the strength needed for regular household use.
Practical 1.5 Bowl Design
The main bowl provides plenty of room for washing dishes and larger cookware, while the smaller half bowl can be used for rinsing food, emptying drinks, or completing another task while the main bowl is occupied.
This versatility makes 1.5 bowl granite composite kitchen sinks a useful choice for busy households where the sink is often needed for more than one job at a time.
Reversible Drainer
The drainer can be positioned on either the left or right-hand side of the bowl to suit your kitchen layout. Two pre-punched tap holes are provided, allowing the appropriate hole to be knocked through once you’ve chosen the sink’s orientation.
Antibacterial Surface
The Axigran material contains silver ions, which provide antimicrobial properties and help inhibit the growth of bacteria on the sink’s surface. This makes it easier to maintain a hygienic food preparation and washing area.
UV Protection
Built-in UV protection helps prevent the silver black surface from fading when exposed to sunlight. This is particularly useful when the sink is positioned near a window or in a bright kitchen.
Thermal Shock Resistance
The granite and resin compound is resistant to thermal shock, allowing it to cope with rapid temperature changes without damaging the sink’s surface. Hot and cold water can therefore be used during everyday tasks with confidence.
Integrated Half-Bowl Overflow
Rather than placing a visible overflow along the edge of the main bowl, the Harlem15 uses its half bowl as the overflow. The sloped drainer and lowered section of the main bowl direct excess water into the smaller bowl, creating a neater overall appearance.
Inset Installation
This inset sink is designed to sit on top of the work surface, where its outer frame supports it securely. Inset kitchen sinks are straightforward to fit and can be installed with a wide range of worktop materials.
Silver Black Finish
The rich silver black colour gives the sink a bold, contemporary appearance. It works particularly well with light worktops, where it creates a striking contrast, but can also complement darker or wood-effect surfaces.
A matching stainless steel basket strainer waste is supplied with the sink. The removable basket collects food debris before it enters the waste pipe, helping to prevent blockages and making disposal easier.

Would it be possible to remove the chrome waste baskets, and overflow cover if any, in this sink and replace them with another colour to match a tap?
The basket strainer wastes can be removed, and replaced with any 90mm basket strainer waste of your choice.

How easy would this get scratched?
If treated with reasonable care (i.e. not abusing it, using appropriate cleaning methods), this sink should hold up well, and any scratches or evidence of wear will be minor over years. It’s not going to be unscratchable (no sink is), but for a granite composite sink it looks good in terms of durability.
This product also has a 10 year warranty if it doesn't stand up to the test of time.
