Sauber have a range of different sizes when it comes to their kitchen sinks. Let your imagination run wild with a range of fantastic options to help optimise space and accentuate the look of your kitchen.

Bowls and drainers:

The style and position of your bowl all depend on how you intend to use your sink and how much workspace you have. If you decide to use your kitchen sink to clean larger items like pots and pans then a larger single bowl will be the best option for you! However, if you prefer the versatility and practicality of multitasking then 1.5 / 2 bowl sink may be a better option.

The location of the drainer is an important consideration when deciding to purchase a Sauber kitchen sink. We offer a range of left /right-hand options, we also offer a range of reversible sinks so you can find the right one for your kitchen.

1 Bowl Kitchen Sink

This is perhaps the most common kitchen sink that you will find throughout many homes. Featuring one large bowl which makes for perfect use for washing dishes and preparing food. This type of sink doesnt take up too much room and is a brilliant choice for smaller kitchens where worktop space is limited

1.5 Bowl Kitchen Sink

If you're wanting a little extra space and like to multitask, then we suggest a 1.5 Bowl Kitchen Sink. These sinks consist of one large bowl and a smaller, half bowl next to it. This smaller bowl is great for peeling and washing vegetables when prepping meals. 

2 Bowl Kitchen Sink

2 bowl kitchen sinks are a brilliant addition to any large kitchen. The two large bowls will add a sense of class to a room whilst also providing you and your family prime multitasking abilities - The perfect option for large and busy family households!

All Sauber kitchens sinks feature a robust and extremely hardwearing stainless steel construction. Stainless steel is a brilliant material for kitchen sinks and is one of the most commonly used materials, and easy to see why – they’re light and super easy to install making them ultra-functional.

Stainless steel sinks are also easy to take care of and are unaffected by household chemicals, thus allowing you to maintain its brilliant shine for many years to come. Sauber Kitchen sinks are also extremely durable as they won't chip, crack, fade or stain.

The positioning of your Sauber kitchen sink is highly important when it comes to the installation process. Currently, we offer the following type of sinks: 

Inset Kitchen Sink

Inset:

Inset sinks are the most common way to install your sink and is the way in which most people decide to fit their sink. The sink will slot into the worktop and the edges will git seamlessly on top of the worktop, creating a slight lip. We offer a large range of Sauber inset sinks which vary in size, design and bowl so you can find the right one for your kitchen. Many of our inset sinks feature a handy built-in drainer so you can easily dry off your dishes and cutlery after washing up.

Undermount Kitchen Sink

Undermount:

Undermount sinks are a brilliant choice for those who’re looking to save space in their kitchen whilst still achieving that minimalistic look. This sink installation doesn’t include a drainer, making them fantastic choices for those with smaller kitchens. One of the main benefits of installing an undermounted sink is that there are no lipped edges that will collect dirt and debris and you can simply sweep crumbs into the sink.

Which Sauber sink material is the most durable for everyday cooking and heavy use?

Sauber stainless steel is the most hard-wearing choice, with 33 of the 41 models offered in that material; it resists heat, denting and staining better than glass and copes well with hot pans. Ceramic gives a classic, hard surface and is used for the Belfast-style sinks included in our range, but it can chip if you drop heavy cookware. Glass is used sparingly in the range as a visual statement and looks great, though it can show water spots and needs gentler care. If you cook a lot and want low maintenance, a stainless steel model is a practical, long‑lasting option.

How do I decide between a single bowl, 1.5 bowl or double bowl Sauber sink?

Think about the way you work in the kitchen: single bowls give you one deep, uninterrupted space for large pans and baking trays. A 1.5 bowl gives you a main bowl plus a smaller prep bowl for rinsing or draining without needing a separate unit. Double bowls are handy if you like to separate washing from rinsing or soak dishes on one side while using the other. For busy families who wash by hand, a double or 1.5 bowl often makes chores quicker; for minimalists and those with large cookware, a single deep bowl is better.

What sink depth and size should I choose to fit big pots and trays?

Look for deeper bowls in the 200–299mm depth band, which is common across the Sauber range and better suited to tall pans and oven trays. Widths often sit between 400–599mm, while lengths in the range extend from compact 400mm models up to over 1100mm for larger kitchens. a 600mm wide sink with a 220mm deep bowl will comfortably take a roasting tin and reduce splashing. If you regularly wash large items, prioritise depth and a wider bowl over a shallow compact model.

How does drainer handedness affect daily use and which option should I pick?

Sauber offers left-only, right-only, reversible left or right, and no-drainer options, so choose based on your workflow rather than symmetry. If you tend to work with your right hand and your drying area or dishwasher sits to the right, a right-hand drainer keeps things ergonomic. Reversible drainer models give you flexibility if you change your layout later. If you prefer a clean countertop look and use a draining rack, a no-drainer sink might suit you.

Are the black glass and black steel Sauber sinks practical or just decorative?

Black glass and black-finish Sauber sinks, such as the black glass surround models, make a striking focal point and pair well with modern cabinetry, but they demand a bit more upkeep because water marks and fingerprints show more easily. The black-finish stainless options offer similar style with the durability of steel, which hides wear better than glass. If you want a designer look and are happy to wipe the surface after use, black models can be both beautiful and usable; for heavy-duty, low-maintenance use, a stainless steel finish is more forgiving.
