Hardwearing Granitek Construction

The Quadra 72 is made from Granitek, a composite containing 80% natural granite stone and 20% acrylic resin. This creates a strong sink designed to resist everyday staining, scratches, knocks, temperature changes, and UV discolouration.

For anyone comparing granite composite kitchen sinks, this construction offers the solid feel of natural stone with a consistent surface that can cope with regular use in a busy kitchen.

Spacious Single Bowl Design

The deep rectangular bowl gives you room to wash larger plates, pots, and pans without adding a separate second bowl or drainer. It can also be used for rinsing vegetables and completing everyday food preparation tasks.

Among 1 bowl granite composite kitchen sinks, the Quadra 72 is a practical choice when you want to dedicate the available space to one generous washing area. Its clean rectangular shape also makes efficient use of the cabinet and worktop area.

Seamless Undermount Installation

The sink is fitted below the worktop, leaving its upper rim hidden. This creates a smooth transition from the work surface into the bowl and keeps the white granite finish as the main feature.

An undermount design also makes cleaning the surrounding surface easier because crumbs and spills can be wiped directly into the sink without catching on a raised rim. Check that your chosen worktop material, cabinet size, and cut-out are suitable for an undermount installation before ordering.

Antibacterial Surface

The composite material contains silver ions, which help inhibit the growth of bacteria on the sink surface. This provides useful additional protection in an area regularly used for food preparation and washing.

The antibacterial properties work alongside normal cleaning rather than replacing it, so the bowl should still be cleaned regularly with suitable products.

UV and Thermal Shock Protection

UV protection helps reduce fading and discolouration when the sink is exposed to natural light. This is particularly useful with a white sink, where maintaining an even finish is an important part of its appearance.

The material is also resistant to thermal shock, helping it cope with changes between hot and cold water during normal kitchen use.

Contemporary White Finish

The bright white finish gives the sink a clean, contemporary appearance and can help a smaller kitchen feel lighter. It works particularly well with pale worktops for a coordinated look or darker surfaces when you want a stronger contrast.

Its neutral colour also makes it easy to combine with a wide range of kitchen taps, cabinet finishes, and accessories.

Waste and Installation Requirements

A stainless steel basket strainer waste is included with the sink. It catches larger food debris while allowing water to drain away and can be removed when it needs emptying or cleaning.

A waste pipe kit is not supplied, but a compatible option may be available when the sink is added to your basket. Confirm the required pipework and fittings with your installer before beginning the installation.

10-Year Warranty

This kitchen sink comes with a 10-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
