What’s Included:
The Haier Series 6 HAIH82MTMCF 83cm Venting Induction Hob combines four powerful cooking zones with centrally positioned downdraft extraction. Its recirculating carbon-filtration system requires no exterior duct, making it particularly suitable for islands and worktops where an overhead cooker hood would be impractical.
Integrated downdraft extraction
The extractor draws cooking vapour, grease and odours downwards close to the cookware. Integrating extraction into the hob keeps the wall or ceiling above the worktop clear.
This provides greater freedom when positioning the hob on an island or beneath a window.
Recirculating carbon filtration
Extracted air passes through carbon filtration before returning to the kitchen. This helps reduce cooking odours without requiring a duct route to an outside wall.
Carbon filters require periodic cleaning or replacement according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Because this is a recirculating system, extracted moisture is returned to the room rather than discharged outdoors.
Four powerful induction zones
Each of the four zones provides 2kW during normal operation. This offers responsive control for everyday boiling, frying and simmering across several pans.
Compatible magnetic cookware is required for induction cooking.
3.7kW PowerBoost
PowerBoost increases the output of an individual zone to as much as 3.7kW. This provides rapid heating when bringing water to the boil or heating larger cookware.
Boost availability and duration may be limited when several zones are operating at high power simultaneously.
Flexible cooking area
Two adjacent zones can operate together as one extended area. This provides more consistent coverage beneath compatible griddle plates, large roasting pans and oval cookware.
Multislider touch controls
The Multislider interface provides direct control over individual cooking zones. Power levels can be adjusted with a sliding movement rather than repeatedly pressing increase or decrease buttons.
Power management
Power management distributes the available electrical load between active zones. This helps the hob operate within the limit configured for the installation, although maximum performance may be reduced when several high-power settings are used simultaneously.
Easy-clean black glass
The smooth black glass surface creates a contemporary appearance. Once the hob has cooled, spills can be wiped away without cleaning around raised burners or conventional heating plates.
