What’s Included:
The Haier HAPY5CBS2BWIFI 52cm Integrated Canopy Cooker Hood combines compact cabinet installation with connected controls and automatic extraction. It moves up to 397m³/h during normal operation, while intensive boost increases airflow to 493m³/h.
Compact canopy installation
The hood is designed to fit into compatible kitchen cabinetry, keeping most of the appliance concealed. Its compact 520mm width makes it suitable for smaller cooking areas where a full-size chimney hood would be visually intrusive.
The appliance occupies space within the cabinet, so the installation drawing should be checked before planning usable storage above it.
Effective four-speed extraction
Three normal fan speeds allow the airflow to be matched to different cooking activities. Lower levels suit gentle simmering, while the highest normal speed handles increased vapour from boiling and frying.
At its maximum normal setting, the hood extracts up to 397m³/h.
493m³/h intensive boost
Intensive mode provides temporary additional extraction during demanding cooking. It reaches an airflow rate of up to 493m³/h.
The intensive setting is intended for short-term use and may automatically return to a lower speed after a set period.
Automatic extraction with Preci Sense
Activate Preci Sense and the hood monitors odour and vapour conditions around the hob. It then adjusts the extraction level automatically according to the detected air quality.
Automatic operation supplements rather than replaces appropriate kitchen ventilation.
Control through the hOn app
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connect the hood to the Haier hOn app. Compatible features include remote fan adjustment, lighting control and access to additional smart content.
Available functions depend on the appliance configuration, network connection and current app version.
Touch controls
The touch-sensitive control panel provides direct access to fan speeds, intensive boost, automatic operation and lighting. Its smooth surface is easier to wipe than a control panel with raised buttons.
LED task lighting
Two 1.5W LED lamps provide a combined 3W of lighting over the cooking surface. LED technology offers clear task lighting with low energy consumption.
Ducted or recirculating installation
The 150mm outlet allows vapour, odours and moisture to be discharged outdoors through suitable ducting.
Where external ducting is unavailable, the supplied carbon filter allows the hood to operate in recirculation mode, reducing cooking odours before returning air to the room.
Recirculation does not remove moisture from the kitchen. Carbon filters require periodic replacement according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Multilayer grease filtration
A multilayer filter captures airborne grease before it reaches the hood’s motor or ductwork. Regular cleaning helps maintain airflow and extraction performance.
