What's Included:
The Haier HAIH8IFMCF 83cm Venting Induction Hob combines four induction zones with a downdraft extractor positioned centrally between them. Its recirculating filtration system removes the need for an external duct route, making it particularly useful for kitchen islands and worktops beneath windows.
Integrated downdraft extraction
The extractor draws cooking vapour, grease and odours downwards close to the pans. Integrating extraction into the hob removes the need for a separate cooker hood above the worktop.
This creates greater freedom when planning an island installation or positioning the hob beneath a window.
Recirculating carbon filtration
Air passes through the filtration system before being returned to the kitchen. The carbon filter helps reduce cooking odours, allowing installation where routing ductwork to an outside wall would be impractical.
Filters require periodic cleaning or replacement in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. As this is a recirculating system, extracted moisture is not discharged outdoors.
Four induction zones
Each cooking zone provides up to 2.1kW during normal operation. This gives you responsive control for everyday boiling, frying and simmering across several pans.
Compatible magnetic cookware is required for induction cooking.
3kW PowerBoost
PowerBoost increases the output of an individual zone to as much as 3kW, providing faster heating when bringing water to the boil or heating cookware rapidly.
Boost availability and duration may vary when several zones are operating simultaneously.
Flexible cooking area
Two adjacent zones can work together as one extended area. This provides more even coverage beneath compatible griddle plates, roasting pans and large oval cookware.
Multislider touch controls
The Multislider interface provides direct touch control over individual cooking zones. Power levels can be adjusted without repeatedly cycling through settings.
Power management
Power-management technology distributes the available electrical load between active zones. This helps the hob operate within the limit configured for the installation, although maximum zone performance may be reduced when several high-power settings are used together.
Easy-clean black glass
The smooth black glass surface creates a clean, contemporary appearance. Once the hob has cooled, spills can be wiped away without cleaning around raised gas burners or conventional heating plates.
