Measure from your wall to the front of adjacent cupboards and think about door clearance so the drum and control panel sit comfortably.

The Samsung carries a higher price alongside a slightly larger 11kg capacity and its Series 6 positioning, which signals more advanced technology and premium features compared with the 10kg Hotpoint. A higher price often reflects added convenience, refined controls or energy efficiencies, whereas the Hotpoint offers strong basic performance at a lower cost. If you want maximum capacity and likely extra tech for long-term convenience, the Samsung may suit you; if budget and reliable large-capacity washing matter most, the Hotpoint is a very sensible option.
