Separate Hot and Cold Controls
The Abode Hex features two levers marked HOT and COLD, allowing you to adjust each supply independently. Each handle operates its own ceramic disc valve, opening fully with a quarter turn.
For anyone comparing kitchen mixer taps, this familiar control arrangement makes it straightforward to balance the flow and temperature for washing up and rinsing.
Swivelling Spout With an Anti-Splash Outlet
The spout reaches 220mm over the sink and rotates through 360 degrees, giving you flexibility to position the water outlet where needed. Its anti-splash design helps keep everyday washing more manageable.
A honeycomb aerator features a coin-slot insert for removal during cleaning and an M22F thread. At 3 bar, the tap delivers 12.05 litres per minute.
Brushed Nickel With Geometric Styling
The brass body has a brushed nickel finish, combining a soft satin appearance with a squared spout and hexagonal detailing. It coordinates easily with other metallic kitchen fittings while adding character to the sink area.
The tap stands 369mm high, with a spout height of 251mm, a 24mm spout diameter, and a 48mm base diameter.
Fitting and Water Supply Requirements
Designed for a single 35mm tap hole, the Hex fits worktops up to 60mm thick. The supplied mounting components include a triangular stabilising bracket to support the installation.
Its 365mm flexible braided stainless steel tails have M10 connections at the tap and ½-inch BSP male connections at the supply. Non-return valves are fitted in both inlets.
The tap weighs 1.56kg and operates between 0.5 and 5.5 bar. The recommended hot water temperature is 46°C, with a maximum of 60°C.
5-Year Warranty
The Abode Hex comes with a 5-year warranty, with decorative finishes and O-rings covered for 1 year. This provides added reassurance when choosing kitchen taps for daily use.
