Extra Reach for Everyday Kitchen Tasks
The Abode Hex makes rinsing dishes, washing vegetables, and cleaning around the bowl more convenient. Its spray head pulls out on a weighted hose, extending the reach from 220mm to 520mm, while the spout swivels through 360 degrees.
If you’re comparing pull out kitchen taps, this combination gives you flexibility to direct water around the sink rather than working beneath a fixed outlet.
Brushed Nickel With Geometric Detail
The Hex pairs a squared spout with a hexagonal collar and textured, knurled spray head. Its brushed nickel finish gives the brass body a soft satin appearance that complements contemporary kitchen fittings.
The tap stands 378mm high, with a spout height of 261mm, a 24mm spout diameter, and a 48mm base diameter. These proportions create a distinctive feature without an oversized base.
Smooth Control and Accessible Cleaning
A single lever controls temperature and flow, with a ceramic disc cartridge providing smooth adjustment. The honeycomb aerator has a coin-slot insert for removal during cleaning and an M22F thread.
Non-return valves are fitted in the spray head and both inlets. At 3 bar, the tap delivers a flow rate of 7.11 litres per minute.
Installation Requirements
Designed for a 35mm tap hole, the Hex accommodates worktops up to 45mm thick. The supplied mounting components include a triangular stabilising bracket to support the installation.
Its 365mm flexible braided stainless steel tails have M8 connections at the tap and ½-inch BSP male connections at the supply. The tap weighs 1.39kg and requires an operating pressure between 1.25 and 5.5 bar.
The recommended hot water temperature is 46°C, with a maximum of 60°C.
5-Year Warranty
The Abode Hex comes with a 5-year warranty, with decorative finishes and O-rings covered for 1 year. This provides added reassurance when choosing kitchen taps for everyday use.
