Extra Reach for Washing and Rinsing
The Abode Hex combines a pull-out spray head with a spout that swivels through 360 degrees, making it easier to direct water around your sink. The weighted hose extends the reach from 220mm to 520mm, providing flexibility when rinsing vegetables, washing pans, or cleaning the bowl.
For anyone comparing pull out kitchen taps, it offers practical movement without a separate spray fitting.
Antique Brass With Contemporary Detail
The warm antique brass finish gives the Hex an aged appearance, balanced by a squared spout, hexagonal collar, and knurled spray head. It’s a distinctive combination that works with traditional materials as well as contemporary kitchen designs.
The brass-bodied tap stands 378mm high, with a spout height of 261mm, a 24mm spout diameter, and a 48mm base diameter.
Smooth Control and Accessible Maintenance
One lever controls temperature and flow, while the ceramic disc cartridge provides smooth adjustment. The tap delivers 7.11 litres per minute at 3 bar.
Its honeycomb aerator has an M22F thread and a coin-slot insert for removal during cleaning. Non-return valves are fitted in the spray head and both inlets.
Installation Requirements
The Hex fits a 35mm tap hole and worktops up to 45mm thick. The supplied mounting components include a triangular stabilising bracket to support the installation.
Its 365mm flexible braided stainless steel tails have M8 connections at the tap and ½-inch BSP male connections at the supply. Weighing 1.34kg, the tap requires an operating pressure between 1.25 and 5.5 bar.
The recommended hot water temperature is 46°C, with a maximum of 60°C.
5-Year Warranty
The Abode Hex comes with a 5-year warranty, with decorative finishes and O-rings covered for 1 year. This provides added reassurance when choosing kitchen taps for daily use.
