Triton T80z Showers

The Triton T80z is probably the most versatile in their range, featuring thermostatic, fast-fit, eco and slimline models. Thermostatic showers are ideal if you experience regular fluctuations in your hot and cold water, they work by keeping the temperature consistant no matter what else is going on in the house. The T80z Fast-Fit Triton electric showers come with multiple water and cable entry points on both the left and right side so fitting is a breeze. Finally the slimline model adds an extra element of style to an already brilliant shower.

What is the real difference between the thermostatic and manual T80z models, and when should you opt for a thermostatic unit?

Thermostatic models actively maintain the temperature you set by mixing hot and cold and adjusting for pressure or temperature swings in the rest of the house, so the shower stays steady if someone turns on a tap or the washing machine starts. Manual units require you to control temperature and flow yourself and need separate hot and cold feeds. If you often notice sudden hot or cold bursts during showers, a thermostatic T80z is the safer, more comfortable choice; five of the seven available T80z options are thermostatic. Manual models can be fine in single-person homes with stable water supplies and simpler plumbing.

How do I choose the right power (kW) version of the T80z for shower performance?

Higher kW ratings generally give stronger flow and better ability to reach higher temperatures; the T80z range includes 8.5kW, 9.5kW and 10.5kW options. If you want a brisk, more powerful spray, useful for a more invigorating shower or larger heads, lean toward 9.5kW or 10.5kW. For smaller bathrooms or lower flow requirements, an 8.5kW model can be perfectly adequate and more economical to run. Match the kW to how strong you want the shower to feel rather than to vague rules about house type.

What are the practical benefits of the Fast-Fit T80z models?

Fast-Fit T80z units have multiple water and cable entry points on both left and right sides, which makes them more adaptable to different bathroom layouts and existing pipework. That flexibility means you're less likely to need major rearrangement of pipes or fittings when swapping in a new shower. Several of the included in our range models are Fast-Fit, including dual-head and thermostatic variants, so you can get the adaptable layout without sacrificing features like temperature control.

What do the outlet options (1, 2 or 3 outlets) mean for how you use the shower?

One outlet is a single head or handset on a riser rail and suits a straightforward showering setup. Two outlets give you a second shower head, often a fixed head plus a handset, that can be used separately or sometimes together, as with the DuElec dual-head models in our range. Three-outlet systems add a third function such as body jets or a bath filler, letting you run multiple sprays independently or in combination for a spa-like experience. choose a two-outlet model if you value an overhead rain head for relaxing showers plus a handset for rinsing.

Which finish and style of T80z should you pick to match your bathroom?

The range is mainly offered in white and chrome finishes, with slimline variants for a cleaner, more contemporary profile. If you have a minimalist or Scandi-style bathroom, a white slimline T80z will blend subtly with tiles and light surfaces. Choose chrome if you prefer a crisp, reflective look that ties in with taps and towel rails; the chrome options often match modern metal fittings well.
