Replacing shower valve
Pros: Easy replacement, cured previous problem, why did I wait so long to do it?
Cons: None
After putting up with dripping shower for some time (will do it someday), finally prchased a replacement valve/cartridge. As I'd fitted the first one myself confident I could replace it. No real problems, just remember which inlet is 'hot' and setting the max water temp might depend on your H/W boiler setting if you have a seperate DHW setting. Much easier to use than the old one, wife's happy which is all that matters.
