Pros: Very pleased with the spray head and its constant temperature controls.
Cons: Take the serial number of the shower unit before it gets install as it is hard to read once the installation is completed.
Very good shower system. Easy to install with good instruction. Final commissioning took long then estimated. The shower is good for areas with low mains water pressure. Controls water temperature excellently.
Pros: Simple to install and looks good
Cons: Can't think of any at present
My new shower seems more powerful and better looking than my old Mira..
Best electric shower to fit for older people and all the parts can be renewed
Pros: See main review.
Cons: See main review.
I'm not sure if this is intended to be a product review of the Mira or the service from Plumbworld - so I'll briefly write something about both.
First off, I purchased an incorrect model - the 9.8kw version instead of the 9. Thankfully PW were very thorough and prompt in refunding in full after they received my returned item. No problems. Correspondence and contact was good despite there being no phone number - all was via Email.
All deliveries were prompt and received undamaged from either stock or transit.
The product itself works fine as expected! The only slightly 'shoddy' thing I'd say is that the bar that holds the shower head, where you can move it up or down, isn't quite as robust as the older model of the same name. That said, it seems strong enough.
If you can, go for the 9.8kw model. I believe the pressure is better. Our old model was 9.8 but we later found out it was risky considering the wiring used and fuse (hence the return of what was to be the straight replacement then opting for the less powerful model).
Pros: 1.good delivery/service
Cons: 1.didnt win the weekend away in venice draw for filling in this review
lets start with Plumb World, i have read some poor reviews which supprised me as i found them great i ordered my new shower, they confirmed, kept me upto date with shipping and tracking, arrived on time and in good condition. well done Plumb World, the shower was a replacement MIRA which i have had previously works well no problems fitting running fine at time of writing last one gave me 11 years problem free service
Pros: Easy efficient operation.
Cons: None that I can think of.
Bought this as a replacement for an earlier model which was very efficient, but this is even better. Very pleased with purchase and competence of Plumbworld.
Pros: very easy to fit, overall nice looking shower,at a very good price.
Cons: what can i say, there nothing i don't like about this product.
bought this shower to replace our old mira shower, much better than the old one very easy to fit, just took the old one out and placed the new one in, no having to alter any pipe work or anything all screw holes the same as old shower ,so perfect for us.more powerfull than the old shower, could not of bought a better product, overall best shower i have had. would definitely recommend this shower to anybody especially if you are replaceing your old mira advance shower.
Pros: Straightforward to install and use, with good thermostatic control.
Cons: Dont trust the template when marking the mounting holes. From bitter experience, I never do anyway, but the holes would have been drilled 6mm too far apart if I had not measured the case to check.
Bought to replace our (at least 25) years old Mira the Advance ATL was the nearest in size and had the cold water inlet on the right. Now installed, commissioned and used, It is a great shower.
