Pros: Good simple design.
Cons: Wiring upgrade was expensive and a hassle but part of a general electrical check and certification for insurance purposes so worth doing
If you have to have an electric shower this is a good one. This is the third attempt inside 2 years. First was the one in the house when I moved in. Second was a cheaper lower power one. Now this. Bit of a hassle to upgrade the wiring but worth it I think.
Pros: Great temperature control, reasonable power.
Cons: Possible limescale
Great shower, Temperature & power all satisfactory. However I bought it to replace an old identical one, which had stopped working due to limescale deposit. I think, in a hard water area, many showers do suffer from this, so have a shelf life.
Pros: Good to install. In use, instant hot shower, with no wait for boiler to warm up!!
Cons: None so far
Had this shower at our previous house had very good service from it, that is the reason for installing it in the new house. so far, not dissapointed.
Pros: Easy installation. Clear instructions. Quality feel and stylish looks.
Cons: Niggling - but the chrome look outer cover feels a little flimsy but look great.
Bought this as a replacement for a 2 year old Triton which never matched up to its Triton predecessor. "Which?" recommended Aqualisa as one of the best shower manufacturers and I wholeheartedly agree with them. I fitted the unit myself without any issues because the instructions were clear and well laid out. The unit innards are very well constructed and all components have a quality feel to them. This shower also seems to cope much better than the Triton with the pressure drops that occur when running taps or flushing toilets. In fact there is no noticeable drop in shower pressure or water temperature. It looks very stylish and is worth the little extra cost over its rivals.
Pros: Easy to use
Sleek looking product and easy to use, looks great
Pros: This was very easy to retro fit where a triton shower was previously installed
Cons: Price is high but you get a quality piece of kit
After out previous Triton shower broke down are a good 5 years + of use, we were tempted to go back to Triton but the quality difference was noticeable between this product and a similar Triton shower.
Pros: Stylish, easy to use.
Cons: Had to upgrade the cable to fuse box.
This shower looks the part in my new bathroom. It looks stylish & not cheap. The main on off botton eliminates blue around the parameter when the shower is on. It gives a nice shower, better than the last Triton 8.5 kw we had. I can wash my, long, hair no probs with this new one! I love the oh so simple design of this. One button on/off and one heat control dial! Had to up grade the thickness of the cable from shower to fuse box to have this shower, but worth it. Happy with the shower.
Pros: The new shower head with five different flows.
Cons: Life span.
I purchased the Aqualisa Quartz shower as a straight replacement for one that I had had fitted in May 2010. I was disappointed with the 'life' of the original shower but having paid out to be told it could not be fixed I chose to save on fitting costs by choosing the same shower.
While it worked I enjoyed the shower. The replacement model has a new head with more choices of flow and this is an improvement.
