AKW formers have been designed for superior strength. They've been built to easily accomodate a wheelchair user and a carer if one is required. They're so strong in fact, that they'll take up to 60 stone in weight.

Cut your former to size

The formers are manufactured from GRP (glass reinforced plastic) which allows the Tuff Form® to be cut to length or trimmed to within 150mm of the waste, all without losing any of its structural integrity.

Offset waste position

An offset waste position allows you to rotate the former until the waste hole is free of any joists or pipework. Centre positioned shower trays can often to tricky to install because of this.

Flexible floor type installation

Installation of our formers couldn't be easier. Not only are they packed with features to keep them in place but they can also be fitted on almost any type of floor your home would have. Whether it's a wooden floor or a concrete floor installation is possible.

Ribbed underside for sturdy installation

The underside of the formers benefits from a ribbed design which completely eliminates slippage or float of the former when you're installing it. Something that can be extremely awkward with inferior products.

GW50 Gravity waste

Included with your new former is a brilliantly designed GW50 gravity waste. With a high flow rate you won't have any worries about the shower tray filling up with water. It's also easy to access when you need to clean it.
