Twin Impeller Shower Pump
Twin pumps are designed using the highest standard of technology to boost your water pressure of both hot and cold water supply to a single shower, bath, shower mixer or mixer tap. Put a stop to low water pressure with this pump. It is perfect for transforming your unsatisfactory shower into a powerful and invigorating shower that you'll never want to leave.
A positive head shower pump is designed to be gravity fed, therefor it needs a 'head' of distance (at least a metre) between the pump and the bottom of the cold water cistern. The gravity feed 'kick-starts' the pump, pushing water straight through to your shower.
Flexible hoses included
This shower pump comes complete with 4 x 15mm to 22mm Straight Pushfit Couplers (with Isolating Valve), which are used to link your shower pump to both incoming and outgoing water pipes. These hoses lmit the transfer of vibration from the motor and pump to the associated pipe work, helping to reduce noise and prevent damage to the pump itself.
The best kind of shower pump is the type that no one knows is there. The CT60B is exactly that. Compact enough to be stored in an attic or an airing cupboard.
Do you need a pump?
Do you have a lower flow on your hot supply compared with your cold supply? Then depending on your shower you should be able to fit a shower pump to boost up your pressure.
The CT60B from Salamander is a regenerative type pump, this means they have a specially designed impeller to assist in the removal of air from the water system. The ideal pump to use when you have a lot of complicated pipework with multiple bends and elbows.
As with all twin impeller pumps it’s designed for connection onto both the hot and cold stored water supplies. The benefit of this type of installation is that both water supplies are boosted to the same level of pressure giving you a better level of control when using the shower. As a final seal of quality, Salamander cover the product with a fantastic 3 year guarantee!

The shower pump was very easy to find on your Website and very reasonably priced. Easy to purchase and arrived very quickly. It was a straight swap for the same product. New pump worked straight away and considerably quieter than its predecessor.

Buying this pump for the second time in two months now, very pleased with its size and power...and cost! Will be my ‘pump of choice’ now for all my customers.
I have no hesitation in recommending Plumbworld. Service and value for money both first rate. I know where to go in future! Martin Smith, Brimpsfield.
Arrived next day, fitted day after, works perfectly, last salamander pump lasted 11 years I hope this one lasts as long.
The ordering process and receipt were excellent. Have not had time to fit the product yet but am confident of success.
This is a great pump I like it, very quite and efficient. Best price too!!
This is a great device. We are renovating a seventies time capsule bungalow blessed with long runs of 15 mm pipe. The flow of water to all outlets was dire. Fitting solar hot water, so need a gravity system. This pump is crossover technology, which means it can work one outlet only, such as loo or kitchen hot tap. It runs the whole place and shifted a scary amount of built up gunge from the old pipework, after which it got even better. The supplied hoses are really too short and inflexible. They would make fitting awkward so I replaced them with longer better ones. The only issue is that it is quite noisy. I have it in a basement underneath a concrete floor and it is still audible.
Unfortunately, the choice of pump we could purchase was restricted as we have 15mm pipes. That said, I'm really impressed with the pressure, but my god is this pump NOISY!! We have a modern three bedroom house and I can hear the pump everywhere in the house so I'm unsure what they mean by "Quiet operation makes this one of the best pumps on the market"!
