This is a well built shower - the bar is quite substantial and heavy, and bigger than you might think when looking at its picture. I almost wondered whether I should have gone with the Mira Mini instead, but I like the bar because of its separate temperature control, with the red stop. You basically turn on the water and within a couple of seconds it's at the perfect temp. Installation was easy but was a bit worried when we first switched on as the water was coming out in a slow trickled and pulsing. Googling this suggested it was low pressure, but it ended up being air - basically drop the shower head as low down to the floor as possible and after a while you hear the air escaping. My only (minor) gripe is that the shower head is a bit plastic, and only has two settings (not three as it says in the manual). However for the price you are getting a good quality reputable shower.

I chose this shower because we are about to change from a gravity fed system to mains pressure and therefore needed something that could handle both. It works OK with gravity fed pressure but does need to be lower then the top of your hot water tank for the pressure to be good enough to use. The overall quality of the product for the price is excellent, a thermostatic mira shower for under one hundred quid is excellent, as other people have mentioned the rail for the shower head to fix onto is a bit weak, however the quailty of the actual shower itself more than makes up for this - would definatley recommend, just make sure you have enough head for gravity fed!

I wanted to go for a reputable name when I decided to have a new shower installed and I knew that Mira have been one of the market leaders for ages. The Mira Coda model ticked all of the boxes for me (simple operation and stylish )and was available at a great price online from Plumbworld. I was struck immediately by the solidity of the unit and the smoothness of the controls exude quality. The fact that Mira guarantee this particular model for 5 years speaks volumes about it. The customer service provided by Plumbworld was exemplary and I would highly recommend them. The bottom line is: The kids love it and have never been cleaner !

I took a long time researching the market before deciding to purchase the Mira Coda shower. I phoned Mira to get some information and cannot fault there customer service. The shower does exactly what it says and probably performs better than I had expected. The shower is easy to operate and provides safe showering for all the family. I would most certainly recommend this shower to any friend or family, not just because it is reasonably priced, but mostly because it is so efficient. My whole family are able to shower without taking up the bathroom for ages and without using all of the water. Peace at Last!

Surprisingly heavy mixer bar, solidly made and good value. Shower head rather lightweight in comparison. Bit tricky to install in a plasterboard wall - need to get the two water inlets accurately positioned especially if protruding out from a tiled wall and the device also has to be well secured as too heavy to rely on the plumbing alone holding it. Not the easiest plumbing job I have done as a competent amateur. Once its up, it looks good and functions well on a limited tank fed water pressure.
