The Bristan 1901 Exposed Concentric Top Outlet Shower Valve Chrome has an elegant Georgian-style design that will enhance any bathroom with its timeless, traditional beauty.
This shower valve combines a crosshead and a lever handle concentrically for an unusual and functional style. The outer crosshead control has a solid form with gently rounded ends in the typical Georgian style and controls the water temperature. The thermostatic cartridge has a pre-set temperature stop as 42°C, and this safety feature makes this chrome shower valve ideal for family use by eliminating all risk of scalding. The charming tapered lever situated behind, controls the flow of water. It has a lovely turned detail at the bottom and a rounded ball at the end in bright shiny chrome, while the lever itself is in white ceramic. A gentle movement will increase or decrease the water flow for a perfect shower.
This shower valve has a solid brass internal construction for a long, trouble-free working life. It comes with two 8L/min flow regulators, which can save you both money and water, and it holds a water label of less than 14.5L/min. This Georgian style shower valve is compatible with all plumbing systems that have a minimum operating pressure of 0.1-bar. It is ideal for retrofitting as the distance between the two inlets can be adjusted. That means that replacing your current valve is simple as you can use it on existing pipework centres between 136mm and 158mm and it has standard 15-mm inlet connections.
The Bristan 1901 Exposed Concentric Top Outlet Shower Valve Chrome has a single outlet connection located on the top and there are matching Bristan showers and taps available to complete the style of your new bathroom. It is finished in bright, luminance chrome which is easy to keep looking shiny and new with just a wipe over with a dry cloth after use, and for your total peace of mind, this shower valve comes with a full 5-year manufacturer’s guarantee.

Bought as a replacement for a similar Bristan unit that was purchased over 20 years ago. Easy for plumber to fit without altering pipes and tiling. Performs perfectly, with no fiddling to get the right temperature. It just works exactly as it should. I'm very happy!
This is the second 1901 shower that I have purchased and this one is even better. A plastic piece that regularly broke is now made of metal. The rest of the unit is heavy duty and feels like it will last for years. Quality product.
Purchased to replace similar original. Minor pipe work adjustment but otherwise simple. Great price
I bought this to replace an older Bristan 1901 Valve. It is a bit smaller than the earlier model and the outlet for the riser pipe has changed from 18mm dia, to 15mm dia which was a complication as I was trying to fit the valve to an older riser which was 18mm dia. It would have been helpful to have been advised of the change otherwise OK.
