for me it was a tight squeeze as I'm not a diyer and I was pushed for space but it's in and it looks great. it's not high enough for our bath and I've no idea what the white things were for but I used them to prop it higher and put a skirting board on it. no one can tell and it looks great. I've had comments about how sleek it looks and I think they mean flat rather than the usual bowed out bath panels. then I tell them about the sliding doors and everyone wants one. I've never fitted a bath panel before so I can't comment on whether it not it was easy in comparison but I just drilled through a hot water pipe putting up a mirror so if I can fit that panel anyone can.
The panel was very easy to put together and the instructions are very clear. I was a bit dubious about it being folded, but when the panel is straightened out and the holding plate screwed on you have to have to be intent on finding the join to notice it. Slots under the bath well although I had to add a bit of sealant to stop it moving at the top, but thats more of our baths shape than the panel. Once in place against the battens the doors slide smoothly and we now have a useful storage area under the bath. Also, should you need to do any serious maintenance under the bath, the panel could be quite easily be removed.
After taking the old bath panel off on a few occasions (and subsequently damaging it a bit each time, given the small amount of space to remove it) to access stops cocks for shower pipes and a leaking plug hole. I wanted something that was more easliy accessible. This offered the perfect solution and also an excellent idea for under bath storage space for the cleaning stuff in an already small bathroom. The panel is as described, and was a very snug fit. Price is fanastic and the service and delivery times were spot on. Waited a month or so before submitting to ensure the review was fair.
This is the third Croydex side panel we've had in the eight years we've had our bathroom, the previous ones replaced because they rotted from the outside in, being made of painted hardboard. I wouldn't be without my extra storage behind the bath panel otherwise it's wasted space and I was really pleased that Croydex have started making the panels with some sort of toughened exterior, more like an actual bath panel. This hasn't stopped my husband painting the insides with smelly sealant though! Very much more hopeful for longevity with this panel. Fingers crossed!
Wanted to store bathroom cleaning products in the bathroom (obviously!) This provides the ideal solution. 2 sliding drawers (lockable for child safety) allow bleach & other cleaning solutions as well as toiletries to be stored within arm's reach. The only criticism would be the plinth was slightly too shallow for my needs , but got around that by rating it on thin strip of ply wood. All in it has revamped the bathroom (old panel was unsightly and not very secure) and added more functionality to a utility area of the home. Price was great too!
I couldnt find what i needed at B&Q or Wicks so searched the internet and found this one. The P&P was good delivery time acceptable and price also was reasonable. The bath panel is good quality. It hasnt been fitted yet but looks easy enouch to do. I cant wait to see the finished product !!!!
This is a really clever idea to create storage in a 'dead' space! The panel arrived exactly as expected and is a solid and attractive piece. It fit easily on my bath and looks really good as well as bring handy. Much cheaper than other comparable products on the market. A satisfied customer!
Order arrived quickly. The plumber commented on how good this bath panel was and how easy it was to install. I have a tiny bathroom and bought this panel to allow for more storage. I can now store all the cleaning products and toilet roll out of sight. Would recommend this product
We have been looking for some panels for ages that also give us access to the pipes under the bath without having to take all the panel off completely (having had a couple of water leaks over the years)--and this fits the bill as well as being an extra storage area.
A really well made bath panel. The folding feature works well in a cramped bathroom and the (lockable) sliding doors reveal a surprising amount of hidden space under the bath. Also like the ease of using the adjustable plinth, all in all a great purchase.
