Twin Impeller Shower Pump

Positive Head

A positive head shower pump is designed to be gravity fed, therefor it needs a 'head' of distance (at least a metre) between the pump and the bottom of the cold water cistern. The gravity feed 'kick-starts' the pump, pushing water straight through to your shower. 

Flexible hoses included

This shower pump comes complete with 4 x 15mm to 22mm Straight Pushfit Couplers Brass Nut (with Isolating Valve), which are used to link your shower pump to both incoming and outgoing water pipes. These hoses lmit the transfer of vibration from the motor and pump to the associated pipe work, helping to reduce noise and prevent damage to the pump itself.

Twin impellers are designed to boost both hot and cold water supplies to a shower or other outlets. They pump water individually or at the same time. Ideally suited for use with a gravity fed water system.

They function best with showers and mixers producing an even pressure to give more efficient mixing capabilities. All installations are different but installation near the base of the hot water cylinder is recommended.

It is activated by the flow of water, this would usually be about 1 litre per minute per side. An attribute of a positive head pump.

Supplied with anti-vibration feet to assist in the reduction of noise and to aid in stability. No more worrying about waking the house with a late night or early morning shower.

This is a regenerative pump which works in a similar way to a powered water mill. It takes hold of the water, spins it around and throws it back out the other side of the impeller. The advantages to a pump like this include easy installation and a very reliable pump.
