Durable porcelain tile
Porcelain tiles are constructed from pure clays and minerals which are then shaped by dry pressing and fired at very high temperatures to set. This creates a tile that is harder, stronger and much more durable than natural stone. Porcelain is a fantastic choice for a floor and wall tile as it has a superior chip-resistant surface, ensuring a quality product that will easily withstand daily wear and tear.
Tiles for walls and floors
These tiles are hugely versatile as they can be used on either the wall or the floor almost anywhere around your home. They’re great for use in the kitchen and the bathroom!
Translated from Italian, Lappato means ‘semi-polished’. Lappato tiles feature two depths, one level is normally shiny and reflects light, whereas the other level is matte. They provide great anti-slip properties when combined, creating the perfect Lappato tile. They’re the ideal choice for creating a smooth and contemporary look in any room, leaving it looking and feeling clean and luxurious.
Underfloor heating compatible
The biggest worry with a hard floor is that it's going to feel cold underfoot. Well it really doesn't need to thanks to underfloor heating, which is, of course, compatible with this type of flooring. For more information on underfloor heating please consult your installation guide. To see our range of loose wire underfloor heating click here.
Underfloor heating installation costs
Warmup doesn’t offer an installation service but their product installation can be carried out by most tradesmen. The exact cost will vary from region to region and if you’re in the process of replacing your floor then the cost to fit Warmup underfloor heating is often negligible. A pricing suggestion of around £200 – 300 per day would be fair and most systems can be fitted within 1 – 1.5 days. We recommend that you check your tradesman is a qualified expert with underfloor heating experience.
Underfloor heating running costs
Want to save some money? Who doesn’t?! Underfloor heating can have substantially lower running costs when compared with traditional central heating. Heat up times are faster and you can gain the same level of warmth from lower temperatures. Making sure your installation is well insulated is also key for an efficient system.
Keep warmer for longer with great insulation
We would always recommend using Warmup insulation with your underfloor heating installation. It reduces overall heat loss in your home, keeps the heat rising from your floor for longer, and it also improves heat up time. View our insulation here.
