10mm cable size
The right size cable depends on the kW rating of your shower. The higher the rating the greater the flow of heated water will be, so you need to be sure to choose the correct cable size for your shower. This particular shower recommends using a 10mm cable.
Only a cold water supply required
Electric showers are by far the most convenient to install. They connect to a cold water supply only and not to your boiler, warming the water using an element inside the shower. Water suddenly heating up when someone uses a tap at the same time you’re in the shower? No more, as Mira’s advanced temperature control technology stabilises water pressure so that the temperature remains consistent throughout.
Temperature and flow have their own individual control dials, allowing you to easily tweak each setting to your satisfaction.
The shower is switched off via a separate on/off push button switch. This allows you to keep your temperature and flow settings in place.
Family safety comes first with Sensi-flo™ technology. This works to prevent the risk of scalding if the showerhead/hose becomes blocked or water pressure falls.

This was purchased to replace a Mira Elite 2 pumped, gravity fed shower - we have had to change to a combi-boiler and the Elite is not designed for mains pressure. The Multifit (9.8kw) is designed to cover the fixing holes left by most electric shower units, but the Mira Elite 2 is a large beastie....but the multifit covered all but one hole....the last one was half showing and had to be filled in with coloured grout to hide it. The performance of the Multifit(mains pressure) is extremely good - strong output of water from a rather large shower head; we love it. It beats the Mira Elite 2, but in fairness that was a gravity fed shower. The multifit is silent (the Elite 2 was very noisy due to the pump using the stud partition as a sounding board). It isnt bad looking and were very pleased with it. Plumbworld offered the Multifit at a competitive price and delivered it the next day as they promised. Would go there again!

Looks great and does exactly as described. Very quiet and keeps a constant temperature.
The installation is very straightforward if you follow the instructions. It completely covers any signs of my previous shower (Triton Energy) and looks like it’s always been there.
I had a slight issue with the riser not holding its position, but after contacting Mira, they immediately sent a replacement. Great customer service.

I was impressed with the Mira Sport Multi-Fit shower which was supplied by Plumbworld to replace an old Gainsborough shower. Price was competitive and delivery fast. Fitting was simple due to the adjustable multiple positions for the electrical and plumbing connections. This was bought to fit over the holes left by a gravity fed Mira Elite 2. It did cover most of them bar half of one hole which we filled with coloured grout. The shower works fine with a good water output from its large shower head. Very pleased indeeed!
