The very simplest way of making your central heating run more efficiently is to fit thermostats in the house. Honeywell thermostats let you control the temperature in your home more effectively, and means your heating doesn’t have to be on full blast, or off completely. This thermostat is very easy to fit for a professional electrician, and once in place all you need to do is turn the dial to the temperature you need and your central heating system will do the rest.

Money Saving

Remember too that if your central heating is operating more efficiently, then you’re saving money too as your heating will be keeping your home at a constant temperature. Thermostats can often be retrofitted to existing central heating systems, so speak to your heating engineer to see whether this thermostat would be compatible with your set up at home. This thermostat can also be used to replace an existing thermostat too, and given the savings you can expect to make, it’ll pay for itself in no time.

This purchase was easy to fit as it was an exact replica of the one being replaced. The dial on the old thermostat was cracked and on examination the the thermostat itself was still in working order. We were able to replace the dial and the cover without having to re-wire the whole thermstat. Good design, easy assembly Great! Satisfied customers.

My room thermostat needed replacing. I saw no point in digital read outs, operational lights etc -- just something simple, inexpensive and easy to install. It was in fact very easy to install and took only a few minutes; I'm a DIYer not an electrician. It looks smart and does the job.

This was purchased as a replacement that we have had for a long time, at least 15 years. The original dial split. Went to B&Q and they didn't have anything suitable as a replacement. Searched the web and found this model still made. Replacement easy as wires already in place!
